Mark Dantonio's squad fell to 1-3 last weekend with a loss at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. This weekend's all-Michigan battle is set to kickoff at 12:00pm ET at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing. The game will be broadcast live on the Big 10 Network. Michigan State fell to the bottom of the Big 10 standings last Saturday, losing to the Wisconsin Badgers 30-38. The Spartans had more yardage and more first downs than the Badgers, but also had three more turnovers. Quarterbacks Kirk Cousins and Keith Nichol combined for four touchdown passes, 396 yards, and three interceptions. Wide receiver Keshawn Martin caught four balls for 139 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. The ground game produced 90 yards at 4.1 yards per carry.

Wisconsin controlled the ball for 37:28 compared to Michigan State's 22:31. The Badgers had 436 yards and converted 11 of 18 third down opportunities against the Spartans defense.

The Wolverines improved to 4-0 over the weekend, barely getting past a game Hoosiers squad 36-33 at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor. Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier hit Martavious Odoms from 26 yards out with 2:29 left in the game to take the lead and secure the win. Forcier finished the game 11-of-21 for 184 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.

Despite the win, Inidana had almost 100 more yards than did Michigan and they matched the Wolverines in first downs. However, wide receiver Darryl Stonum neutralized the Hoosiers yardage advantage with seven kick returns for a total of 218 yards.

A win would be huge for Michigan, especially with a game at Iowa coming up next weekend. The Wolverines have a non-conference tilt with Delaware State after the Iowa game, but they host Penn State after that.
