NCAAF Picks: Southern Mississippi vs UAB College Football Predictions & Odds: Southern Miss and UAB are set to meet tomorrow night at Legion Field in Birmingham, Alabama. The Conference USA East battle will be the second league game of the season for the Golden Eagles and the third for the Blazers. College Football Predictions at Sportsbook.com have the Golden Eagles pegged as a -10 against the spread favorite in tomorrow evening's game.

Southern Miss saw an eight game win streak come to end last Saturday as the Golden Eagles fell 28-35 to the Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas. The loss brought the Eagles record to 3-1 on the season. Larry Fedora's squad played well in defeat, racking up 395 yards and 21 first downs against the 18th ranked team in the nation.

Sophomore quarterback Austin Davis continued his stellar play, completing 28-of-42 passes for 331 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. The three scoring strikes brought Davis' season touchdown total to eight; the pick was his first of the year.

Star running back Damion Fletcher had just 10 carries for 27 yards in the loss. Fletcher was injured in the game and he, along with receiver DeAndre Brown, will not play against the Blazers.

The Golden Eagles defense did relinquish 433 yards to Kansas, but Mark Mangino's troops are averaging well over 400 yards per game this season. 

UAB lost its third straight game on Saturday, getting pounded 19-56 by Texas A&M at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas. The Aggies ran and passed all over the Blazers defense, amassing 544 total yards and 30 first downs. A&M also converted 14-of-17 third down opportunities and held the ball for 33:25. 

The UAB's offense did not show well in the loss either, accumulating just 303 yards and 13 first downs. Quarterback Joe Webb completed 8-of-18 passes for 60 yards, and the team finished the game with a grand total of 74 passing yards. The ground game managed to produce, though, racking up 229 yards. Webb had 65 of those yards on 11 carries and he also scored a rushing touchdown. Freshman running back David Isabelle had four carries for 93 yards, most of that coming on a 60 yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter.

NCAAF Picks Betting Trend: Southern Mississippi is 9-0 straight up and 5-4 against the spread in its last nine meetings with UAB. UAB is 1-5 against the spread in their last six games as a home dog in October. UAB is 0-4 against the spread in their last four games as a home dog with a spread between 8 and 10.5.
