Miami, which is playing its third straight road game, rebounded from a tough 24-36 loss at Ohio State by crushing Miami vs Clemson 2010 College Football Odds, Picks & PredictionsPittsburgh 31-3 at Heinz Field. Quarterback Jacory Harris got off to a slow start, tossing two first half interceptions, but the junior passer threw two touchdown passes after the break in leading the Hurricanes to 21 second half points. Harris finished the night with 248 total yards on 32 pass attempts while averaging 7.8 yards per pass.

Miami's defense completely stymied the Panthers offense, holding Dion Lewis and company to 11 first downs and 232 total yards for the game. Through three games, the Hurricanes defense ranks eighth nationally in yards per game allowed (252) and 11th in points per game allowed (13).

Clemson, like Miami, comes in with a 2-1 record after suffering a difficult road loss against a ranked opponent. The Tigers fell 24-27 in overtime at Auburn the last time they took the field after beating North Texas and Prebyterian to open the season. Clemson kicker Chandler Catanzaro missed a 39 yard field goal in the extra period that would have tied the game and possibly led to the Tigers being 3-0.

Clemson led 17-3 at halftime but found itself trailing 17-24 late in the third quarter before rallying to send the game into overtime with a fourth quarter touchdown run. The Tigers finished the game with 27 first downs and 414 total yards, but the defense saw Auburn average 14.3 yards per pass on 14 pass attempts.

The last two meetings between these two teams have gone into overtime. Miami won 36-30 on the road in 2005 after three extra frames while Clemson won 40-37 last year at Sun Life Stadium.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Miami is 1-5 straight up and against the spread in its last six games as a road favorite against an ACC foe with a spread between 0 and 3.5.
