Notre Dame vs Boston College 2010 College Football Predictions, 2010 College Football Odds & 2010 College Football Picks: The Fighting Irish are fighting for their football lives this weekend as they take the ACC's Boston College Eagles in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Notre Dame comes in with a 1-3 record under new head Coach Brian Kelly while the Eagles, 2-1, look to rebound from a home loss to Virginia Tech. Tomorrow's big game is scheduled to get underway at 8:00pm ET at Alumni Stadium and will be broadcast live on ABC. 2010 College Football Predictions, Odds & Picks at BetUS.com have Notre Dame listed as a -2.5 against the spread road favorite; the game total is presently set at 45.

Notre Dame has tasted victory just one time this season, but outside of last week's beat down at the hands of Stanford, theNotre Dame vs Boston College 2010 College Football Predictions, Odds & Picks Irish have been competitive. The Golden Domers lost by a combined seven points to Michigan and Michigan State before the Cardinal came into South Bend and dropped a 37-14 bomb on Kelly's troops.

Stanford recorded 25 first downs and 404 total yards, despite two interceptions from Andrew Luck, but the bigger surprise was Notre Dame's offensive ineptitude. The Irish produced a modest 351 total yards after rushing for just 44 yards on 23 carries (1.9 ypc), spoiling another respectable effort from sophomore quarterback Dayne Crist (304 yards, one touchdown, one interception).

Boston College opened the season with wins over Weber State (38-20) and Kent State (26-13), but fell to the Hokies 0-19 at home last weekend. The Eagles toothless offense managed 16 first downs and 250 total yards while turning the ball over three times. Quarterback Dave Shinskie, who threw for 214 yards and two touchdowns against the Golden Flashes, had his worst outing of the season after completing 11-of-25 passes for 130 yards and two interceptions.

The BC rushing attack did not compensate for Shinskie's rough day, totaling just 70 yards on 28 carries.

The Eagles defense did play well, limiting Tech to 343 total yards and a meager 2.7 yards per carry in 33:21. They will need a similar effort against the Irish tomorrow evening as their offense figures to do little, even against Notre Dame's pedestrian defense.

Boston College has dominated this rivalry series in recent seasons; however, the Irish did snap a six game Eagles win streak with a 20-16 win in South Bend.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Notre Dame is 6-0 straight up and against the spread in its last 10 games as road favorite in the month of October.
