Arkansas vs. Texas A&M College Football Picks: The Razorbacks and Aggies, old rivals from Southwest Conference days, will get together once more but this time on the spanking new field at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas in what is being billed as the "Southwest Classic". Gamblers should be going ga-ga over this game between two teams with questionable defenses and wide-open run and gun offenses. Through three games, Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett has thrown for 877 yards and seven touchdowns. In just 12 quarters, Mallett has thrown for as many or more touchdowns than the Razorbacks did all season 24 times (records dating back to 1947). Michael Smith led all rushers against Alabama with 12 carries for 61 yards. He has now rushed for 1,775 yards and 15 career touchdowns. Greg Childs leads the team with three touchdown receptions this season (two vs. Georgia, one at Alabama). Last season, D.J. Williams and Andrew Davie led the Razorbacks with three touchdown receptions. In his second season as the Texas A&M starting quarterback, Jerrod Johnson has been nothing short of brilliant in the first three games of 2009. The Big 12's top rushing quarterback (65.3 yard per game) also averages over 300 passing yards (320.3) and nearly 400 yards of total offense (385.7) per game. Johnson leads the nation in points responsible for with an average of 26.0 points per game (9 passing TDs, 4 rushing TDs). Jamie McCoy is averaging 4.3 catches and 56.3 yards per game this season which puts him among the top five tight ends in the country.Bet on sports at online sportsbook BetUS.com and receiver up to 145% in Cash Bonuses and start winning today. |
