Two of the highest scoring teams in the country will face off against each other this evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will host the Rice Owls in a Conference USA battle that should leave the turf at Ha Chapman Stadium singed. Tulsa comes into tonight's game sporting a 4-0 record, all of the their wins have been of the blowout variety. Quarterback David Johnson is having an unbelievable season under center, he possesses a 227.2 passer rating and he has thrown 19 touchdowns to just two interceptions. Johnson is likely salivating at his chances tonight against a Rice defense that is giving up an average of 273.6 yards per game through the air.

Rice, like Tulsa, thrives on offense. They are 3-2 on the year, but have played a much more difficult schedule to this point than Tulsa. The Owls are plenty battle tested having played road games at Memphis, Vanderbilt, and Texas.

Despite their porous defense, Rice will provide the Golden Hurricane with their most difficult test to date. Quarterback Chase Clement is an outstanding passer and receivers Jarett Dillard and James Casey are two of the best wideouts in the country.
