2010 College Football Rankings Week 6: As long as Alabama does, what Alabama does – and that's win – they will stay on top of the college football polls. When the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches Polls released their Week-6 polls on Sunday (Oct. 3), the Crimson Tide (5-0) remained on top in both after their impressive 31-6 drubbing of Florida on Saturday. Next up for the Crimson Tide – a trip to Columbia, S.C. this Saturday (Oct. 9) for a game with No. 20 South Carolina.
Ohio State (5-0) held onto No. 2 after getting a challenge in Week-5 from Illinois, with a 24-13 victory. The Buckeyes' Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback, Terrelle Pryor, was knocked out of the game for a short period but returned to guide OSU on a game clinching touchdown drive. Next up for the Buckeyes – vs. Indiana, Saturday.
