College Football Rankings Week 6: When major college football polls, Associated Press and USA-Today/Coaches, released their college football rankings week 6 on Sunday, there was very little change in the top five other than Virginia Tech jumping over Boise State into the fifth spot while the Bronco's, dropped to sixth. Making their debut in the AP Poll is Auburn, appearing at No. 17 followed by 23 USF, 24 Missouri and 25 South Carolina. Falling out of both polls is Cal and Michicigan.
In the USA-Today/Coaches poll, Auburn debuted at No. 19 while Georgia Tech came debuted at 23 followed by 24 USF and 25 Wisconsin. Cal, Michigan and Georgia fell out of the Coaches poll following week 5 losses.
