The Bruins offense, which scored just 22 points in losses to Kansas State and Stanford, posted 107 points in beating the Cougars, Longhorns, and Cougars. Running back Jonathan Franklin sparked the resurgence, rushing for 492 yards and five touchdowns in the Bruins win streak. California, meanwhile, spoiled its 2-0 start with losses to No. 21 Nevada and No. 9 Arizona. If history holds true, though, the Bears will end their two game skid this weekend in Berkeley. Jeff Tedford's squad has won five in a row at home against UCLA by an average of 13 points per game.
