Connecticut vs Rutgers 2010 College Football Odds, 2010 College Football Picks & 2010 College Football Predictions: Big East rivals Connecticut and Rutgers clash tomorrow night at Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway, New Jersey. The conference tilt, which is the first game in a Friday night college football double-header, is scheduled to kickoff at 7:30pm ET on ESPN. 2010 College Football Odds, Picks & Predictions at BetUS.com have the Huskies listed as a -5 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 41.5.

Connecticut did not get its season off to the kind of start it had hoped, losing two of its first three games; however, the Connecticut vs Rutgers 2010 College Football Odds, Picks & PredictionsHuskies have rebounded with back-to-back wins against Buffalo and Vanderbilt.

The offense opened up over the past two weeks, posting 85 points after accounting for a meager 26 in its first two games against FBS competition. A switch at quarterback probably had a great deal to do with the sudden turnaround as Cody Endres has outperformed his predecessor, Zach Frazer, since taking over under center two weeks ago.

Endres, who completed 21-of-30 passes for 179 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the team's 40-21 win over Vanderbilt, has a compiled a 160.78 passer rating this season, a number 53.03 points better than Frazer's tally.

Junior running back Jordan Todman has been the biggest producer for Randy Edsall's offense, though, rushing for 638 yards and seven touchdowns in four games (missed Buffalo game).

Rutgers season really took a nose-dive after opening up with wins against Norfolk State and Florida International. The Scarlet Knights have lost two in a row, falling at home to North Carolina and Tulane after scoring a combined 27 points against the Tar Heels and Green Wave.

Greg Schiano's offense, which averaged 28.8 points and 326 total yards per game last season, has experienced a major drop off this season, despite the return of Freshman All American quaterback Tom Savage. The Scarlet Knights are averaging 19.3 points and 297.8 yards per contest through four games and those numbers include a 31 point/422 yard effort against FCS school Norfolk State.

Rutgers defense, per usual, is solid and figures to keep the Scarlet Knights in tomorrow's battle with the Huskies. The unit, which is anchored by defensive linemen Jonathan Freeny and Scott Vallone, has not allowed an opponent to score 20 points this season while giving up an average of just 266.8 yards per game (tied for 12th in the nation).

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Rutgers is 4-1 straight up and against the spread over the last five years coming off of back-to-back straight up losses.
