Wisconsin 34-24 in East Lansing. The seventh ranked Spartans showed some offensive chops in the victory, racking up 444 total yards while converting nine of their 18 third down opportunities.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw two picks in the win, but he atoned for his mistakes by completing 20-of-29 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns. Michigan State also got 175 yards out of its ground game as Edwin Bell and Le'Veon Bell combined for 157 yards on 34 carries.
The Spartans defense gave up 165 rush yards to the Badgers, but they allowed just 292 total yards and held Wisconsin to 3-of-11 on third down. The lack of conversions allowed Michigan State to score a 13:18 time of possession advantage.
Michigan also brought its record to 5-0 over the weekend with a 42-35 road win at Indiana.
