College Football Predictions 2011 Week 6: The Red River Rivalry will rule the college football landscape this weekend, but today's battle between the Sooners and Longhorns is not the only big game on the docket. Top 25 matchups between Auburn and Arkansas and Florida and LSU are also in the offing as well as important conference meetings between Missouri and Kansas State, Georgia and Tennessee, and Texas A&M and Texas Tech.
Auburn Tigers vs Arkansas Razorbacks (-10): This is a huge game for both teams but more so for the Razorbacks. Auburn
improved to 2-0 in conference play and 4-1 overall with its upset win at South Carolina last weekend, giving the defending National Champions just a bit of breathing room if such a thing exists in the SEC. Arkansas has almost none, though, after getting crushed by Alabama two weeks ago. The Razorbacks rebounded with a nice come-from-behind win against Texas A&M last weekend, but another conference loss this early and Bobby Petrino's troops can consider themselves out of the SEC West race. Missouri Tigers vs Kansas State Wildcats (+4): Missouri, like Arkansas, finds itself in a must win situation today. The Tigers are 2-2 after a heartbreaking loss at Arizona State and a conference opening setback against No. 3 Oklahoma in Norman two weekends ago. A 2-3 mark with four of its next five games coming against ranked opposition and Missouri may be battling just to earn bowl status. Kansas State has more room to work with, but not much considering the Wildcats have road games at Texas Tech and Kansas before going on to face Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, and Texas.
