Iowa advanced to 5-0 last weekend, beating the Arkansas State Red Wolves 24-21 at Kinnick Stadium. The Hawkeyes must have had Michigan on their minds because they were not that impressive in a game they should have won by 20 points. Ironically, Iowa's two worst performances this season have come against their two worst opponents. The team nearly lost their season opener against FCS school Northern Iowa, needing a blocked field goal to preserve a 17-16 lead.

The Hawkeyes would appear to be the superior squad entering this evening's game, but they will need junior quarterback Ricky Stanzi to practice a little better ball security if they want to keep this from being a nail-biter. Stanzi has eight touchdown passes this season, but he also has seven interceptions.
