Boise State vs Tulsa College Football Picks, College Football Predictions & College Football Odds: The Boise State Broncos will try to preserve their unblemished record and No. 5 ranking tonight when they take on the Tulsa Golden Hurricane in Oklahoma. It will be just the second home game of the season for the 4-1 Conference USA Hurricane. For the Broncos, it will be the third road contest in their last four games. Kickoff is set for 8:00pm ET at Ha Chapman Stadium in Tulsa; the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. College Football Picks at SBGglobal.com have Boise listed as a -9 against the spread road favorite. Boise State is coming off, perhaps, their worst outing of the season, a 34-16 win over UC-Davis at Bronco Stadium. Chris Despite the lackluster outing, quarterback Kellen Moore posted his usual solid numbers. The sophomore completed 22-of-31 passes for 285 yards, three touchdowns, and a pick. Moore mostly targeted junior wide receiver Austin Pettis, who abused the UC-Davis secondary for 10 catches, 129 yards, and two touchdowns. Petersen indicated his displeasure with the team's performance after the game and, based upon his comments, the Broncos should be more than ready for this evening's meeting with Tulsa. "Too many penalties, and when you can't score inside the 4-and 5-yard line when you have multiple tries, that's frustrating," Petersen said. "We'll have their attention (Boise players) without question and get things corrected." The Golden Hurricane, other than an embarassing 45-0 loss at Oklahoma, have played well this season. They have gone 2-0 since being drubbed by the Sooners, beating Sam Houston State 56-3 in Tulsa and Rice 27-10 in Houston. Tulsa did not have the best showing offensively against the Owls, which have been smoked by almost every opponent this year, but they did enough to get the job done. The team posted 22 first downs, 385 yards, and possessed the ball for 33:04. The Tulsa defense, however, showed well, completely throttling Rice's offense, holding them to just 191 total yards and a 1.6 yards per carry average. Sophomore quarterback G.J. Kinnie completed 21-of-32 passes in the win for 251 yards and a score, bringing his season totals to 1142 yards and 10 touchdowns (one interception). Head Coach Todd Graham is viewing tonight's game as an opportunity to possibly gain something back that was lost in the Oklahoma game. "This game is definitely a huge game and opportunity for us to go out and gain some credibility," Graham said. Petersen's squad did not look like a top five team in beating the FCS school, amassing just 386 total yards and rushing for 101 in 33 carries (3.1 yards per carry). In addition to nine penalties, the Broncos also finished -1 in turnover margin and had a first quarter drive end on a turnover on downs inside the Aggies five yard line.
