Michigan's unblemished record appeared in jeopardy for a half last weekend at Northwestern when Denard Robinson threw 
three interceptions in the first two frames to put the Wolverines in a 24-14 hole. Robinson rallied himself and the team in the second half, though, as he threw one touchdown and rushed for two more after the break to lead Michigan to a 42-24 victory. The Heisman candidate finished the game with 337 pass yards, 117 rush yards, and four total touchdowns.
Robinson might find rushing and passing lanes a bit more difficult to come by tomorrow afternoon against Michigan State. Robinson threw for 215 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions in the loss and he averaged just 4.1 yards per carry (2.2 yards below his career average). The Spartans Kirk Cousins threw for 284 yards and a touchdown while junior tailback Edwin Baker carried the ball 22 times for 147 yards, and one score in the double digit win.
