Ohio State's suffocating defense (236.3 yards, 13.5 points per game allowed), held the Hoosiers to 14 first downs and 210 total yards in the easy win. Jim Tressel's wrecking crew group also picked off Indiana quarterbacks three times, and is now +10 in turnover margin on the year as a result.
Wisconsin bounced back from its 24-34 road loss to Michigan State with a 41-23 won over Minnesota last Saturday at Camp Randall Stadium. Per usual, the Badgers punished the Gophers defense with a run heavy offense, racking up 250 rush yards on 46 carries. Tailbacks John Clay and James White combined for 229 yards and five touchdowns on 41 touches.
Quarterback Scott Tolzien also showed well, completing 17-of-23 passes for 223 yards and one touchdown, bringing his season passer rating to 160.59.
The Badgers defense did give up 345 yards to Minnesota, but limited the Gophers to 3-of-13 on third down. Wisconsin currently ranks 17th in the nation in third down conversion percentage allowed at 31.71.
Ohio State has won three in a row in this Big Ten rivalry; the Buckeyes have also won three of the last four at Camp Randall by an average of eight points per game.
