Missouri vs Texas A&M 2010 College Football Predictions

by Reno Gold on Saturday, October 16th, 2010

Missouri vs Texas A&M 2010 College Football Predictions: There's the old saying, if you don't succeed at first, keep trying. The Texas A&M Aggies (3-2, 0-1 BIG 12) football team must keep saying that to themselves as they prepare to play 21st ranked Missouri (5-0, 1-0) in a crucial BIG 12 game at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas today (Noon ET, FSN).The Aggies have had two near misses while on the road against ranked teams in the past two weeks. Finally they get a ranked team at home, the Missouri Tigers, who are wanting to keep pace with the torrid Nebraska Cornhuskers in the BIG 12 North.

Missouri vs Texas A&M 2010 College Football PredictionsOnline sportsbook SBGglobal.com lists the Aggies as 3 1/2-chalk favorites versus Mizzou with a 57 1/2 total. Tigers backers are getting +145 odds on the SBG Global moneyline while Texas A&M is giving -165.

Gary Pinkel and his Missouri Tigers will face an angry group of Aggies today at Kyle Field. A&M is a pretty good football team desperate for a win and have the talent, including a very good quarterback, Jerrod Johnson, to beat just about anybody. In back to back weeks, the Aggies lost to 20th ranked Oklahoma State, one a last second field-goal and No. 12 Arkansas by a touchdown.
Mizzou is a bit of a mystery coming into today's game because this is their first real test. The Tigers are coming off a home win over a Colorado team that quite frankly, isn't very good – especially on the road. The Tigers were impressive in their season opening win over Illinois but struggled later to beat San Diego State as a 14 1/2-chalk favorite. It will be interesting to see how the Tigers respond after getting hit in the mouth.

Reno Gold's pick: I think the Aggies will respond today and get their first 2010 win over a ranked team. I think the Aggies will cover as a 3 1/2-chalk favorite.
