UCLA has been all over the place this season in terms of performance, which explains the Bruins 3-3 record. Despite the UCLA vs Arizona Spread 2011 CFB Predictions Week 8teams up and down play (UCLA has not won or lost back-to-back games this year), it has a chance to do a few things in the Pac 12's South Division.

The Bruins lost to Stanford by double digits a few weeks ago, but a win over Washington State on October 8 bumped their conference record to 2-1. UCLA, which ranks 88th in the FBS in yards per game (337.4), can make a big move by knocking off the Wildcats tomorrow night as the Bruins still have winnable games versus Cal, Utah, and Colorado still on the docket.

Should UCLA manage to navigate that part of its schedule successfully, a split with Arizona State and USC may earn the team an unexpected division title.

Arizona's division chances went out the window a couple of weeks back when it lost to USC 48-41 in Los Angeles. The Wildcats followed up that loss with a 37-27 setback at Oregon State to drop their league record to 0-4 on the season.

Arizona elected to fire head coach Mike Stoops after its 1-5 start, and, perhaps, the move motivates the team to finish strong. Still, the Wildcats play three of their final five games on the road and at least two of those (at Washington, at Arizona State) look like guaranteed losses at this juncture. The Wildcats have won four in a row and five of the last six in this series, but the Bruins, at +4, look appealing. Arizona has shown some fight in a few of its games, but more often than not, the team has folded.
