Having just knocked off the #1 team in the country, Kentucky now faces the defending National Champion Florida Gators. The Wildcats have lost 20 in a row against Florida and will try and end that streak at home Saturday afternoon. SBG Global reports that early betting has the public taking the favored Florida on the Road.
Kentucky proved last week against LSU that they are for real as they upset the Tigers 43-37 in triple overtime. "It proved we're a team that obviously earns a lot more respect now," said quarterback Andre Woodson, "We've come a long way from being a doormat in the SEC to competing with the best teams in the SEC and getting some wins." Although Kentucky has a better record and is ranked higher, the Gators are the 7 point road favorite.

"Florida's a 7-point favorite and we just beat the No. 1 team in the nation?" Kentucky head coach Rich Brooks said. "How does that equate? It's pretty interesting stuff."
Florida has won their last 20 games against Kentucky but it will not be easy this week. The Gators are dealing with the tragedy of losing walk-on defensive back Michael Guilford who was killed when his motorcycle hit a curb at high speed. "It's a terrible tragedy," Florida receiver Percy Harvin said. "Our team's really in shock right now. It really hasn't hit us yet. A lot of us will be down. We've just got to lean on each other and lean on our teammates to get us through this tragedy."
SBG Global Current Line: Florida -6.5, Total 63.5
