Florida State vs North Carolina College Football Picks, College Football Predictions & College Football Odds: Tomorrow night two ACC bottom feeders will meet at Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Florida State Seminoles currently occupy last place in the ACC Atlantic division with a 0-3 league record while the Tar Heels of North Carolina are in the cellar of the Coastal division with a 0-2 conference mark. One of the two squads will get off the snide tomorrow evening when things kick off at 8:00pm ET on ESPN. College Football Picks at SBGglobal.com are predicting that team to be the Tar Heels, which are presently listed as a -2.5 against the spread home favorite.

Florida State fell to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in conference action last Saturday, losing a shootout to Georgia Tech 44-49 in Florida State vs North Carolina College Football Picks, Predictions & OddsTallahasse. The Seminoles offense had its way against the Yellow Jackets defense, racking up 539 yards and 26 first downs. Quarterback Christian Ponder had a terrific game as he completed 26-of-36 passes for 359 yards and five touchdowns. His effort, though, was for naught as FSU's defense gave up 532 yards to Tech's offense. Paul Johnson's troops also converted 8-of-10 third downs and 2-of-2 fourth downs, which allowed them to hold the ball almost five minutes longer than Florida State.

While Tech's effort was impressive, it was not totally out of the ordinary for the Seminoles defense to get run over. Bobby Bowden's group is giving up an average of 28.2 points and 428.2 yards per game this season.

Despite the poor defensive effort, Bowden indicated his team has moved on and is ready to face the Tar Heels.

"Every game is a new game," Bowden said. "You forget the last one, get your mistakes corrected and get on to the next game."

North Carolina improved to 4-2 on October 10th and snapped a two game losing streak, beating FCS school Georgia Southern 42-12 in Chapel Hill. Prior to pasting the Eagles the Tar Heels dropped conference games against Georgia Tech (7-24) and Virginia (3-16). Butch Davis' squad still has a chance to climb back in the race, but a win over FSU tomorrow is a must. UNC will have to reverse recent history in order to get by the 'Noles as the Heels have dropped three of their last four games against FSU at Kenan Memorial.

The Tar Heels first priority will be stopping Ponder and the passing game, something which they are well equipped to do. Davis' defense, which is ranked third in the nation, is holding opponents to an average of 14.2 points and 237.7 yards per game this year.

Even though the Seminoles are 2-4, the Tar Heels defense is not taking them lightly.

"Florida State is a great team," linebacker Quan Sturdivant said. "We've got to be prepared when we go out there and play those guys."

College Football Picks Betting Trend: The Tar Heels are 0-6 against the spread since 1998 playing as a home favorite against an ACC foe with a total between 47.5 and 51.
