Clemson vs Miami College Football Predictions, College Football Picks & College Football Odds: Two of the top teams in the ACC will get together this weekend in Miami as the Clemson Tigers and the Miami Hurricanes square off at Land Shark Stadium. The eighth ranked Canes, at 5-1, would seemingly have more on the line in this game, but the Tigers, despite their 3-3 record, are in second place in the Atlantic division. Kickoff in this much anticipated conference meeting is set for 3:30pm ET on ABC. College Football Predictions at Bookmaker.com have the Hurricanes listed as a -4.5 against the spread favorite.

Clemson vs Miami College Football Predictions, Picks & OddsThe Tigers enter Saturday's meeting with Miami sporting the nation's 12th ranked defense. Clemson's defensive prowess was on full display in their last game as they rebounded from an unexpected loss at Maryland by drubbing Wake Forest 38-3. The Demon Deacons amassed a paltry 178 yards for the game, despite holding the ball 35:57. The Wake offense had fewer than 100 yards passing and averaged just 1.8 yards per carry.

Offensively, Clemson relied on all-world running back C.J. Spiller, who carried the ball just nine times, but still produced 106 yards and two touchdowns. Head Coach Dabo Swinney will probably depend on the same formula against the Canes this weekend as he knows his defense will have to play a pivotal role in a Tiger win. Specifically, Swinney expressed concern about shutting down quarterback Jacory Harris and the Hurricanes 39th ranked passing game.

"We just have to get to (Harris) and hit him," Swinney said. "We can't let him get comfortable because if we do it will be a long day in South Beach."

Miami, amazingly, is in fourth place in the ACC Coastal division, despite its 5-1 overall record and 2-1 mark in conference play. Randy Shannon's squad, however, will have plenty of opportunities to reach the top of the league standings as five of their last six games are against ACC foes.

The Canes mopped up against non-conference, but in-state rival UCF last Saturday beating the Kinghts 27-7 in Orlando. Miami's offense posted 26 first downs and 363 yards in the easy win as Harris completed 20 of his 26 passes for 293 yards and a touchdown. Central Florida managed just 229 yards against the Hurricanes defense.

Harris and company appear to be ready for a return to conference action having reeled off three straight non-conference wins since their embarassing 7-31 loss at Virginia Tech. According to Harris, Clemson's 3-3 record has deterred Miami's focus.

"It feels like a rivalry game," Harris said. "Clemson has always been one of the top dogs in the ACC. No matter what game you're playing, they'll give you a tough game. We have to go out there and have a wonderful game against these guys."

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Miami is just 2-8 against the spread in their last 10 games as a home favorite.
