Tennessee vs Alabama College Football Predictions, College Football Picks & College Football Odds: The Tennessee Volunteers and the Alabama Crimson Tide will meet this weekend in an SEC East versus West clash at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The two rivals are scheduled to kickoff at 3:30pm ET on CBS. College Football Predictions at Sportsbetting.com have the Tide listed as a -14.5 against the spread home favorite.

Tennessee last played on October 10th, taking out SEC foe Georgia by a score of 45-19 in Knoxville to even its record at Tennessee vs Alabama College Football Predictions, Picks & Odds3-3. The decisive win was the first conference victory on the season for the Volunteers and it moved them to fourth place in the SEC East standings.

Tennessee's offense had its best day of the year, accumulating 24 first downs and 472 yards at the expense of the Bulldogs defense. Beleaguered quarterback Jonathan Crompton also had his best outing of the season or career for that matter, completing 20-of-27 passes for 310 yards and four touchdowns. Crompton, who has been turnover prone throughout his time at Tennessee, only threw one pick in the lopsided affair.

The Volunteers defense, which ranks 13th in the nation in yards per game allowed at 272, held the Dawgs to just 241 total yards and also forced three turnovers.

Head Coach Lane Kiffin was proud of the effort, but he knows his team will need to build on it in order to get past the Crimson Tide.

"If you watch football and pay attention, I don't think there's any doubt who the No. 1 team is," Kiffin said. "Alabama has a great team — very well coached, extremly talented, great special teams, great on offense, great on defense."

Alabama ran its record to 7-0 last Saturday and jumped to the top spot in the AP Poll with another conference win. This time the Tide rolled over the Gamecocks of South Carolina 20-6 in Tuscaloosa for their fourth straight SEC win. The streak has Nick Saban's squad sitting comfortably in first place in the SEC West standings.

The Alabama offense was hampered by four turnovers and a number of penalties, but still produced 356 yards in a little over 28 minutes. Quarterback Greg McElroy struggled, completing just 10-of-20 passes for 92 yards and two interceptions; however, running back Mark Ingram more than made up McElroy's rough outing. The sophomore carried the ball 24 times for 246 yards and a touchdown, powering Alabama past a tough South Carolina defense.

The Crimson Tide defense did what it usually does and held the Gamecocks to a meager 278 yards. South Carolina managed just 64 yards on the ground at a paltry 2.4 yards per clip. Alabama's defense now is giving up 11.6 points and 226.6 yards per game this season.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: The Under is 8-2 in Alabama's last 10 games as a home favorite in the month of October.
