Oklahoma vs Missouri 2010 College Football Odds, 2010 College Football Predictions & 2010 College Football Picks: The nation's top ranked team, at least according to the BCS standings, will play its first true road game this weekend as the Oklahoma Sooners square off against the Missouri Tigers tomorrow night in Columbia. The Big 12 blockbuster is scheduled to get underway at 8:00pm ET at Faurot Field; it will be broadcast live on ABC. 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks at online bookmaker BetUS.com have the Sooners listed as a -3 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 53.

Missouri debuted at No. 11 in this week's BCS rankings after going undefeated through its first six contests. The TigersOklahoma vs Missouri 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks, which have been characterized by a high-powered offense in recent seasons, stunned their first two Big 12 opponents, Colorado and Texas A&M, with a stingy defense.

Under the guidance of second year defensive coordinator Dave Steckel, Missouri has allowed 10.8 points per game (second in the FBS) and 328.7 yards per game (29th FBS) this season. The Tigers also rank fourth in the nation in sacks per game at 3.33.

Mizzou put their newly found defense on full display against the Buffaloes and Aggies, giving up a combined nine points and 690 yards in beating those two schools 26-0 and 30-9 respectively.

Steckel credits the turnaround with the maturity level of the current group of players.

"We're more experienced," Steckel said. "They have an understanding of where they're going and what they're doing. Now they're not thinking, they're reacting. Defense is a reactionary game."

No. 1 Oklahoma has played a brutal schedule to this point in the season (Utah State, Florida State, Air Force, Cincinnati, Texas, and Iowa State), but the Sooners have navigated it successfully as they come into tomorrow's game with a 6-0 record.

Oklahoma also appears to be hitting its stride after blasting the Cyclones 52-0 last Saturday in Norman. Quarterback Landry Jones played, arguably, his best game as a Sooner, completing 30-of-34 passes for 334 yards and three touchdowns. His effort led to a 672 yard day for OU, which also rushed for 325 yards on 56 carries.

The Sooners have owned the Tigers really since the 80's, beating Mizzou in 20 of the last 21 games between the two schools. Oklahoma also smashed Missouri in back-to-back Big 12 Champinship Games in 2007 and 2008.
