Iowa racked up 383 yards and converted 7-of-13 on third down in the win, which improved the team's road record to 1-1. Quarterback Ricky Stanzi, whose 180.50 passer rating ranks third in the nation, was superb in eliminating the Wolverines, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns.
The Hawkeyes defense did absorb a 522 yard blow from Denard Robinson and company, but two picks of backup Tate Forcier and one of Robinson made up for the high yardage total.
