Baylor ran its record to 6-2 last weekend with a 47-42 victory over the visiting Kansas State Wildcats. Texas, fresh off its road upset of Nebraska, suffered its second stunning loss of the season last weekend, falling at home 28-21 to the Iowa State Cyclones.

Iowa State jumped all over the Longhorns early and took a 14-3 lead into the break. Texas responded in the second half, but could not complete the comeback as Garrett Gilbert tossed three interceptions, two of which came after halftime.

Gilbert, who has struggled to fill the shoes of the departed Colt McCoy, completed 34-of-57 passes for 344 yards, two touchdowns, and the afroementioned three picks in the loss. Texas' rushing attack also came up short in the shocking setback (first ever loss to the Cyclones), accounting for 96 yards on 29 touches.

The Longhorns are a perfect 10-0 in their last 10 games against the Bears; however, they are 1-2 against the spread in their last three meetings against Art Briles squad.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: The Longhorns are 7-3 against the spread and 9-1 straight up in their last 10 games as a home favorite against a Big 12 team with a spread between 4 and 7.5.
