Missouri vs Nebraska 2010 College Football Odds, 2010 College Football Predictions & 2010 College Football Picks: The sixth ranked Missouri Tigers, fresh off their upset of previously unbeaten Oklahoma, find themselves facing another difficult test tomorrow as they take on the 14th ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers in Lincoln. This Big 12 North clash is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30pm ET on ABC/ESPN. 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks at SBGglobal.com have the Cornhuskers listed as a -7.5 against the spread home favorite and the Over/Under set at 55.5.
Missouri recorded a huge win for its program last Saturday, turning back the Oklahoma Sooners
36-27 in Columbia. The Tigers yielded 402 yards to OU's fast-break spread offense, but they forced Bob Stoops squad into three turnovers (two Landry Jones interceptions) and limited it to 13 second half points.
Mizzou's offense had its way against Brent Venable's defense, racking up 486 total yards, 178 of which came on the ground (39 carries). Quaterback Blaine Gabbert carved up the Sooners secondary, completing 30-of-42 passes for 308 yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Jerrell Jackson had his biggest game of the season, catching nine passes for 139 yards and one score.
The win, which was the Tigers third in conference play, improved Missouri's record to 7-0 on the season.
Nebraska rebounded from an unexpected home loss to the Texas Longhorns with a 51-41 win at Oklahoma State. Taylor Martinez, who had a horrific outing against the Longhorns, looked unstoppable against the Pokes, throwing for 323 yards and five touchdowns. Martinez, who is averaging 124.3 yards per game on the ground (8.7 ypc), also accounted for 112 rush yards on 19 carries.
The Cornhuskers defense did not look as good in the high-scoring victory, giving up 495 yards to OSU's potent offense. The Cowboys Kendall Hunter rushed for 201 yards and two touchdowns while wide receiver Justin Blackmon caught five passes for 157 yards and two scores.
Missouri will be seeking some revenge in this game after falling 12-27 to Nebraska last season in Columbia. The Tigers, which beat the Huskers 52-17 in Lincoln in 2008, led 12-7 heading into the fourth quarter but gave up 20 unanswered to Bo Pelini's squad in suffering its first loss of the year.
College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Missouri is 7-3 against the spread but just 3-7 straight up in its last 10 games as a road dog against a Big 12 foe with a total of 54.5 or more.
