The 2009 college football season has been nothing but a disaster for coach Ron Zook and his Fighting Illini. Afterall, this was a season where Illinois was expected to contend for the BIG TEN crown. They had several pieces in place including a senior quarterback in Juice Williams. Well, something happened on the way to the forum because Illinois is still looking for its first win versus a FBS school. With only a win against FCS Illinois State (Missouri Valley Conference), Illinois is 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the BIG TEN.
