At least Michigan has the excuse of rebuilding under second year coach Rich Rodriguez. The Wolverines are currently 5-3 overall and have a chance to get bowl qualified with a win today at Illinois. Michigan is 1-3 in conference play with their only league win coming at Indiana in week 4.
