Washington State vs. Notre Dame College Football Picks: The No. 25 ranked Fighting Irish of Notre Dame are playing a home game against Washington State but not in South Bend, Ind. The Irish, in an attempt to expand their national fan base,  are taking their show on the road to play a game in the Alamo Dome in San Antonio, Texas. Kick-off for the game is at 7:30 pm ET and will be televised nationally by NBC.

College football picks oddsmakers at Bodog.com currently have the Fighting Irish listed as 27-point favorites versus the Cougars, while the game's total is sitting at 61. Moneyline odds are OFF the Bodog college board.

Washington State will be a breather for the Irish. The Cougars program is one of the worst teams from a BCS conference (PAC 10). The Cougars are 1-6 with their only win coming at home against SMU in week 3. WSU has lost in excess of 30 points in two of the past three weeks. All of the Cougars losses were by double-digits. One interesting trend regarding the Cougars; they are 4-3 against the chalk since most of their games are double-digit lines.

Washington State lost 49-17 to Cal at Memorial Stadium in Week 8. WSU covered as a 36.5-point road underdog while the final score played over the 60-point total.

Jimmy Clausen's touchdown pass in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference as Notre Dame beat Boston College 20-16 in Week 8. The Irish failed to cover the 8-point spread, while the final score played UNDER the day's posted total of 54.

College Football Picks: Look for the Cougars to cover the spread for the fifth time this season. The reason is almost a four touchdown spread. The Cougars will score some points and it's unlikely Notre Dame will run the score up.
