College Football Betting: What are players betting this week at Pinnacle Sports Book.
Notre Dame +7.5 -114 vs. USC
USC is less than 1/100th of a point behind Michigan in the BCS standings. If the Trojans win this week and again next week versus UCLA, they should move to the #2 spot and play for the national championship. Notre Dame is a long shot to catch Michigan and will likely play in another BCS bowl regardless of whether they win.
We opened the Trojans at -6, and took a lot of early sharp action on USC. We found a "pressure point" at USC -7. The sharps keep playing USC at -7, but pass at -7.5. Irish backers seem content to play them at +7 or +7.5. The Trojans have recently dominated the Irish, winning the last four contests. USC has been especially strong under Pete Carroll in November, racking up a 19-0 record (including 3-0 this year). |

The Oregon Ducks (7-4, 4-4 PAC 10) travel to Corvallis to battle the Oregon State Beavers (7-4, 5-3 PAC 10) Friday at Reser Stadium in what Oregonians call, "The Civil War." The game pits neighbor against neighbor and family member against family member. Though not known nationally as a rivalry on the scale of Ohio State-Michigan or Auburn-Alabama, the game has been getting plenty of attention in the Beaver State for the past 101 years. The home team has won the game in the last nine meetings. The last time the home team didn’t win, was when Oregon defeated the Beavers 49-13 in Corvallis in 1996. Oregon is looking to snap a two-game losing streak their longest such streak since losing three in a row to end the 2004 season.

The LSU Tigers have plenty to play for when they travel to Little Rock, Arkansas to take on the No 5 Arkansas Razorbacks in War Memorial Stadium Friday at 2:30 p.m. in a game to be televised by CBS. First of all, LSU is not out of the BCS bowl mix with only two losses to SEC powerhouse programs Auburn and Florida. But a loss to the Hogs would probably drop the Tigers to a lower tier bowl. Secondly, LSU would like nothing more than to put the only blemish on the SEC Western Division Champions conference record. The LSU defense is dotted with stars, including All-America candidates, defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey, linebacker Ali Highsmith and safety LaRon Landry. It’s likely the best defense the Razorbacks will face this season.

After having its Big 12 record 21-game conference winning streak snapped by Kansas State, No.11 Texas (9-2, 6-1 Big 12) looks to rebound against Texas A&M (8-3, 4-3 Big 12) in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Friday, Nov. 24 at 12:00 Noon (EST) and televised nationally by ABC. The Aggies are coming off a loss to Nebraska, 28-27. With a victory, the Horns would clinch at least a share of the Big 12 South title for the sixth time in the 11 years of the Big 12 and for the fifth time under head coach Mack Brown. The Longhorns expect to have starting red-shirt freshman quarterback Colt McCoy back under center against the Aggies . McCoy injured his shoulder in the first quarter after rushing for a touchdown on the opening drive against Kansas State. McCoy has completed 174-of-250 passes for 2,102 yards with a team record 27 touchdowns and has been picked off only four times this year.

The No.18 Boston College Eagles travel to Miami, Florida to play the reeling Miami Hurricanes (5-6), losers of their last four football games, Thursday night with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. (EST). Boston College is 9-2 this season and is still in the hunt for the ACC Atlantic Division title and a berth in the ACC Championship game while Miami is in search of its sixth win needed to become bowl qualified. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN. To win the Atlantic Division, Boston College needs a win over Miami and then needs Maryland to beat Wake Forest in College Park on Saturday. The Terrapins can still win the division if they beat Wake Forest and Boston College loses to Miami. The Eagles are coming off a 38-16 victory over Maryland and have lost only to North Carolina State and Wake Forest this year. Quarterback Matt Ryan leads the Eagles' attack. He has passed for 2,531 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. Tailbacks L.V. Whitworth and Andre Callendar have combined for 1,305 yards rushing so far. On defense, Boston College ranks 38th in total defense but 15th in scoring defense.
