LSU vs Alabama College Football Picks Predictions: The biggest game of the weekend will take place in Tuscaloosa, Alabama as the LSU Tigers square off against the Alabama Crimson Tide at Bryant-Denny Stadium. LSU improved to 7-1 last week, scoring a 42-0 non-conference home win over Tulane. The victory was the Tigers second in a row since their 13-3 loss against Florida on October 10th. Les Miles squad has much at stake this Saturday as they are just a game back of Alabama in the SEC West division with a 4-1 league record. A win would likely propel them to the division title with winnable games against Louisiana Tech, Mississippi, and Arkansas left on their schedule. 

"Our football team wants to compete for the Western Division championship every year," Miles said. "That's this game. The game is very significant. Our guys understand that."

Alabama won its eighth game of the year on October 24th with a narrow 12-10 win over Tennessee in Tuscaloosa. The victory helped the Tide retain their first place standing in the West Division with a 5-0 conference mark. It is no secret that Nick Saban's club has made its bones on the defensive side of the ball; on the season they are holding their opposition to an average of 11.4 points and 240.9 yards per game. In conference play their points per game allowed average has dropped to 9.2.

The magnitude of this game has not been lost on the Tide either, as they too would probably secure the West Division with a win.

"This game is huge. It's huge for the coaching staff, it's huge for us, it's huge for our fan base," Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy said.

College Football Picks Predictions Betting Trend: Alabama is 9-1 straight up but just 3-7 against the spread in its last 10 games as a home favorite versus an SEC opponent.
