Oklahoma vs Texas A&M 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks

Oklahoma vs Texas A&M 2010 College Football Odds, 2010 College Football Predictions & 2010 College Football Picks: The Texas A&M Aggies will look to sustain their recent uptick tomorrow afternoon as they host the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners at Kyle Field. The Big 12 South clash is scheduled to get underway at 7:00pm ET in College Station. 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks at online bookmaker BetUS.com have the Sooners listed as a -3 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 61.

The Aggies season was all but circling the drain a few weeks ago as team had lost three straight games to fall to 3-3 on theOklahoma vs Texas A&M 2010 College Football Odds, Predictions & Picks season; however, Mike Sherman's troops have responded the past two weeks beating conference foes Kansas (45-10) and Texas Tech (45-27) to move to 5-3 overall and 2-2 in Big 12 play (fourth in the South standings).

The reason for A&M's sudden turnaround? A switch at quarterback. Jerrod Johnson tossed nine interceptions in his three starts leading up to the Kansas game, which, not surprisingly, resulted in an 0-3 stretch for the Aggies.

Former receiver Ryan Tannehill, who was recruited as a quarterback, took over for Johnson in the Jayhawks game where he completed 12-of-16 passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns. He followed that solid performance up with a great outing against the Red Raiders last weekend, throwing for 449 yards (36-of-50), four touchdowns, and just one interception.

In the three games prior to Sherman's decision to bench Johnson, the Aggies averaged 20.3 points per game. Since the switch A&M has scored 90 points.

Oklahoma rebounded from its first loss of the season with a resounding 43-10 win over Colorado in Norman. The Sooners offense continued its ridiculous output in dumping the Buffaloes as Landry Jones threw for 453 yards and four touchdowns in leading the team to 635 total yards.

The Sooners now at 7-1 overall and 3-1 in the Big 12 play are still very much in the mix for another conference title as well as a possible National Championship appearance. However, they must find a way to curtail the Aggies momentum in order to keep those hopes alive.

Recent history would suggest that will not be a problem for Bob Stoops' squad. Oklahoma has won seven in a row over Texas A&M by an average of 30.3 points per game and they have covered in the last three with victories of 42-14, 66-28, and 65-10.
