Baylor at Oklahoma State 2010 College Football Picks

by Reno Gold on Saturday, November 6th, 2010

Baylor at Oklahoma State 2010 College Football Picks: The Baylor University Bears (7-2), currently ranked No. 21 in this weeks BCS standings, is the surprise leader of the Big 12 South Division with a 4-1 conference mark. If the Bears are to hold their ranking and place in the conference standings, they will have to beat No. 17 Oklahoma State (7-1), who's team is in a virtual tie with the Bears with a single conference loss. This game, scheduled for a 12:35 kickoff, will be broadcast live on FSN.

Baylor at Oklahoma State 2010 College Football PicksOddsmakers at SBGglobal.com list the Cowboys as 8 1/2-chalk favorites versus the Bears and have posted a very high 73 point total. Baylor backers are getting +270 odds on the SBG Global moneyline while the Pokes are giving -330.

Baylor is coming off its first victory over Texas since both schools joined the Big 12 Conference. The Bears have won SU in five of their last six games, and are 5-3 ATS while the OVER/UNDER total has split 4-4 this season.

The Cowboys faced a difficult road test at Kansas State last week following their disappointing 51-41 week-8 home loss to Nebraska. The Cowboys defense, a unit that let the team down versus the Huskers, stepped up to keep the Wildcats at bay on a night when the Pokes offense wasn't at its best. OSU won the game 24-14 SU as a 4-chalk favorite. The 38 points scored fell well below the 66-point posted total. OSU has been good to its betting backers covering the point-spread in six of eight games while the OVER has been a big winner six of eight games OSU has played.

Reno Gold's Pick: These two teams are definately capable of putting up 73 combined points but plenty has to go right for that to happen. My play is taking the UNDER 73. I'm leaving the side alone in this one but sort of like the Bears +8 1/2. They should be heading to Stillwater with tons of confidence following last weeks win over the Longhorns.
