Rockets conference record dropped to 2-3 on Halloween when they lost 24-31 at Miami, Ohio. The defeat, the third in the Rockets last four games, was especially disheartening as it marked the Redhawks first win of the season. Toledo's offense played well in the loss, producing 25 first downs and 444 yards, but the defense gave up 29 first downs and 436 yards to a Miami team that is averaging just 15.6 points per game on the season.
