Pittsburgh vs Connecticut 2010 College Football Picks, 2010 College Football Odds & 2010 College Football Predictions: The Pittsburgh Panthers will chase their fourth consecutive win when they take on Big East rival Connecticut tomorrow night in Hartford. The conference clash is scheduled to kickoff at 7:30pm ET at Rentchler Field; it will be broadcast live on ESPN. 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & Predictions at online sportsbook BetUS.com have the Panthers listed as a -5.5 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 46.5.

Pittsburgh has officially recovered from its disappointing 2-3 start and now stands at 5-3 on the season after wins over Pittsburgh vs Connecticut 2010 College Football Picks, Odds & PredictionsSyracuse, Rutgers, and Louisville. The Panthers, which many projected to win the Big East this year, control their own conference destiny with a perfect 3-0 record in league action.

The play of sophomore quarterback Tino Sunseri has been a major factor in the Panthers recent turnaround. Sunseri did not perform horribly in Pitt's first five games (63 completion percentage, five touchdowns, three interceptions), but he really stepped it up in wins over the Orange and Scarlet Knights. The Pittsburgh native threw for 585 yards (74.3 completion percentage), seven touchdowns and one interception in dispatching those two conference opponents. Sunseri has also compiled an impressive 174.6 passer rating over the last three weeks.

Pittsburgh's defense has been dominant in league play as well, giving up just 38 points (12.7 points per game allowed) and 696 yards (232 yards per game allowed) while forcing eight turnovers (2.7 per game).

Connecticut stepped away from the brink of disaster last Friday night with a 16-13 home overtime victory against West Virginia. The surprising win brought the Huskies record to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in Big East play. It also kept Connecticut's slim conference title hopes alive.

The Huskies, which have averaged a pathetic 13.3 points per game in their three Big East tilts, are perfect at home this season, beating Texas Southern, Buffalo, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia by an average of 26.3 points per game.

Pittsburgh has won the last two in this series, including a 34-10 2008 victory at Rentschler Field.

College Football Predictions Betting Trend: Connecticut is 4-0 against the spread and 3-1 straight up over the last five years playing as a +3.5 to +6.5 underdog coming off a win (Under 4-0).
