Obviously, each remaining game holds great importance for teams in the top five as they all have a shot at a BCS National Championship appearance depending on how things shake out. Some weekends look bigger than others, though, and that perception could put at least one of high profile team in danger this Saturday. No. 2 Oklahoma State Cowboys vs Texas Tech Red Raiders (+17.5): With each passing week the situation becomes more
critical for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys have played themselves into national championship contention, but they need to run the table in order to maintain their current position. While OSU is, without question, superior to its next two opponents (Texas Tech, Iowa State), it must avoid looking ahead to its all-important season finale showdown with arch-rival Oklahoma. Texas Tech has played inexplicably bad over the last two weeks, losing 41-7 at home to Iowa State and 52-20 to the Longhorns in Austin, but this is the same team that pulled off a 41-38 upset of the Sooners in Norman. The Cowboys can expect the same kind of shot their in-state brethren got and if they are not prepared for it, if their minds are elsewhere, they may be in for a long afternoon. Oklahoma State has owned this rivalry of late, beating Tech three times in its last four meetings with its former Big 12 South dancing partner; however, the Red Raiders have won seven of the last eight in Lubbock.
Other potential upsets or against the spread letdowns: No. 3 Alabama/Mississippi State (+18), TCU/No. 5 Boise State (-15.5), No. 7 Oregon/No. 4 Stanford (-3.5)
