West Virginia vs. Cincinnati College Football Picks: Cincinnati, the No. 5 team in the latest BCS college football rankings, looks to stay on the path toward crashing the BCS party when it hosts USA Today coaches poll's 23rd-ranked West Virginia Friday night (8 pm ET) on ESPN.

College football picks oddsmakers at online sportsbook Bodog.com list the Bearcats as 10-chalk favorites versus the Mountaineers with a 56 total. West Virginia backers are getting +310 moneyline odds as a road underdog while Cincinnati is giving -420.

Cincinnati will shoot for a 10-0 record Friday with backup quarterback Zach Collaros starting for the fourth straight game. But it hasn't seemed to matter who leads the Bearcats this year; they racked up a school-record 711 yards in a 47-45 win over Connecticut last week. Cincinnati failed to cover the 17-point spread, while the 92 points sailed OVER the posted total of 51.5.

West Virginia, meanwhile, bounced back from a loss at South Florida to beat Louisville last week 17-9, even though they got outgained for the third game in a row. Jarrett Brown led West Virginia with one touchdown pass in the win. The Mountaineers just covered the 7.5-point spread, while the final score played well UNDER the day's posted total of 54.5.
