BCS Standings 2010 – Oregon Hold On at No. 1: For the first time in years, the BCS Top-10 stayed the same from the previous week. Oregon, in spite of its narrow victory over Cal Saturday night, held down its spot as the nations No. 1 team. After a week of off the field distractions over quarterback Cam Newton, Auburn was able to focus on the field by holding off Georgia and remain the No. 2 BCS team.
TCU survived a scare, winning by five points over unranked San Diego State on Saturday and was able to hold its No. 3 BCS ranking, though narrowly over No. 4 Boise State. If the Broncos win their next two games over Fresno State and Nevada, they will likely jump over the Horned Frogs who finish out their season next week with New Mexico. LSU remains No. 5 after blowing out Louisiana-Monroe in a non-conference game at Death Valley on Saturday.

Stanford won a close game on the road at Arizona State last week and held on at No. 6 in this weeks BCS standings followed by 7 Wisconsin, who put a 83-20 whipping on Indiana. Nebraska kept winning, topping Kansas 20-3, and held its No. 8 ranking. Ohio State was impressive in beating Penn State to retain its No. 9 ranking while Oklahoma State went on the road to whip Texas 33-16 to stay at No. 10.
Alabama jumped over Michigan State, who was idle in Week-11, on virtue of its 30-20 win over No. 17 Mississippi State on Saturday. The Spartans dropped to 12th. Arkansas is 13th following their out of counference 58-20 mashing of Texas-El Paso Saturday night. The Hogs are followed by No. 14 Oklahoma, and No. 15 Missouri.
At No. 16, Virginia Tech is the highest ranked ACC school followed at No. 17 by SEC East champs South Carolina. Nevada moved up to 18th, in spite of their narrow win at Fresno State while Texas A&M jumped six spots to 19th following their win at Baylor. Iowa fell to 20th this week after losing to Northwestern 17-21 on the road at Evanston.
Mississippi State dropped to No. 21 followed by 22 Arizona, 23 Utah, who fell after getting blown out at Notre Dame, 24 Miami, who climbed back in after upsetting Georgia Tech on the road. Florida State returned to the BCS poll at 25 following its 16-13 victory at Clemson.
