The most competitive series the ACC has had to offer the last couple of years has been between the Clemson Tigers and Boston College Eagles and 2007 appears to be no different. When the teams play Saturday down in Death Valley at Clemson Memorial Stadium, the ACC Atlantic Division title is on the line. The winner goes on to play in the championship game in Jacksonville, Fla., while the loser goes home.
Just two weeks ago Boston College was ranked No.2 and had a clear shot to the BCS title game if they won out. Then two successive losses to Florida State at home and Maryland on the road quashed any national championship hopes but they still control their own destiny in the ACC.
The Tigers currently have the hot hand having won four straight including impressive road wins over Maryland and Duke. Last week the Clemson toppled defending ACC champs Wake Forest in Death Valley.

The way the tie breakers fell each of the last two years, had Clemson scored just one more point in regulation against the Eagles, Clemson would have been Atlantic Division Champions each year.
