College Football Odds Week 12

by Matt Foust on Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

College Football Odds Week 12: There are just a few short weeks left in the 2009 college football season, which means there will be some important match ups taking place in the near future. This weekend features at least two such games as the Kansas State Wildcats and the Nebraska Cornhuskers vye for the Big 12 North title and the Oregon Ducks look to stay atop the Pac-10 standings as they take on the Arizona Wildcats. For the latest points spreads on these two conference clashes and all the College Football Odds Week 12, visit Bookmaker.com today.

Kansas State vs Nebraska (-16.5): Nebraska took a huge step toward wrapping up the Big 12 North Division last weekendCollege Football Odds Week 12 with a 31-17 win over the Jayhawks in Lawrence, Kansas. The victory improved the Huskers record to 7-3 and moved them to the top of the division standings with a 4-2 conference record. The Wildcats, meanwhile, fell flat at home against the Missouri Tigers, losing 12-38 to drop to 6-5 overall and 4-3 in Big 12 play. However, Kansas State can more than make up for their most recent setback with a win at Nebraska on Saturday. If Bill Synder's squad can pull that off, they will wrap up the division title and meet the Texas Longhorns in the Big 12 Championship.

Series Trend – The Wildcats are just 1-5 in their last six trips to Lincoln; their last win came (38-9) came in November of 2003.

Oregon vs Arizona (+6): The Ducks had some margin for error a couple weeks ago when they lost to Stanford, but the Cardinal eliminated Oregon's breathing room with that win. Now the Ducks, at 6-1 in Pac-10 play, will likely need to win out in order to secure their first conference title since 2001. That will not be an easy task as they take on a Wildcats team that is 4-2 in league play and 5-0 at home. Arizona is also coming off a road loss to Cal and they have yet to lose back-to-back games this season.

The Ducks will also be keeping a close eye on Stanford this weekend as the Cardinal meet the Golden Bears in Palo Alto. If Jim Harbaugh's troops win out (Cal, Notre Dame) and Oregon falls against either Arizona or Oregon State, Stanford will win the conference crown.

Betting Trend -  Arizona is 0-8-1 against the spread and 0-9 straight up as a home underdog with a spread between 4 and 7.5 since November of 1996.
