Colorado vs Oklahoma State College Football Predictions Picks: The Colorado Buffaloes and the Oklahoma State Cowboys will meet tomorrow night in a Big 12 showdown at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The No. 12 Cowboys are fighting to preserve their second place standing in the Big 12 South Division leading into next weekend's finale against the Sooners. Oklahoma State improved to 8-2 last weekend with a grind it out 24-17 win over Texas Tech in Stillwater. The Cowboys ran the ball 60 times for 243 yards and converted 9-of-18 third downs in route to a 15 minute time of possession advantage. Quarterback Zac Robinson completed 9-of-21 passes 90 yards and a touchdown and he also led the team in rushing with 99 yards on 19 carries. The win brought OSU's conference record to 5-1, which has them a game behind Texas and a game ahead of third place Oklahoma, which they play in Norman next Saturday.

The Pokes are 5-3-1 against the spread this season and 5-2 straight up at Boone Pickens Stadium where they are averaging 32.4 points per game.

Colorado, at 3-7, is just looking to finish out the season, and possibly the Dan Hawkins era, on a positive note. Last weekend the Buffs fell to 3-7 overall and 2-4 in conference play with a 10-17 loss in Ames, Iowa. Hawkins' crew had more first downs and more yardage than the Cyclones, but they took themselves out of the game with 11 penalities and three turnovers. Iowa State also ran for 194 yards against the Buffaloes defense, which has been weak against the rush all season long (155.8 rush yards per game allowed).

It is almost certain that the Pokes will employ the same heavy rush strategy tomorrow evening that they did last weekend against the Red Raiders. Kendall Hunter is starting to get healthy and Robinson is an effective option runner at quarterback. They should be salivating against Colorado's pourous defense, which gives up and average of 32.8 points per game on the road.
