The Aggies, which are now 3-7 overall and 2-4 in WAC play (fifth place), gashed the Spartans soft defense for 431 yards, 381 of which came on the ground. Sophomore running back Robert Turbin did most of the damage, carrying the ball 24 times for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Utah State is 3-1 straight up and against the spread at home this season, where they are averaging 33 points per game. The Broncos are 5-0 straight up and 3-2 against the spread on the road. They are outscoring host squads by an average of 22.8 points per contest.
