The Bears enter tomorrow's meeting with Stanford sitting in sixth place in the Pac 10 with a 4-3 conference record. They are 3-1 on the road this season with wins at Minnesota, UCLA, and Arizona State.

Stanford won its third straight game last weekend, drubbing USC 55-21 at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The lopsided win featured another powerhouse effort from senior running back Toby Gerhart. The 22 year old Norco, California native carried the ball 29 times for 178 yards and three touchdowns, leading the offense to 24 first downs and 469 total yards.

The Cardinal defense held the Trojans to a meager 17 first downs and 334 yards. They also picked off freshman quarterback Matt Barkley three times in the big win.

Stanford, at 7-3 overall and 6-2 in conference, is just a half game back of the Ducks in the Pac 10. Jim Harbaugh's Cardinal close out the season with a non-conference tilt against Notre Dame; Oregon faces Arizona this Saturday and finishes up against Oregon State on December 3rd.
