by Reno Gold on Monday, November 22nd, 2010

One needs a microscope to see any change in the BCS Standings, released for Week-13 of the 2010 College Football Season on Sunday. The Oregon Ducks and Auburn Tigers, who were idle in Week-12, stayed at No. 1 and 2, but No. 4 Boise State inched closer to No. 3 TCU in points. The computers liked the Broncos a little better this week after their convincing 51-0 victory over Fresno State on Friday. TCU, who was idle in Week-12, only leads the Broncos by .0135 points this week; compared to .0332 last week.

BCS Standings 2010: Idle Ducks Stay No. 1The Broncos stand a good chance of overtaking TCU in the BCS Standings next week if they defeat No. 18 Nevada on Friday. The Horned Frogs close out their regular season against unheralded New Mexico on Saturday.

Alabama heads the second 10 at No. 11, followed at No. 12 by Arkansas, then a trio of BIG 12 teams, No. 13 Oklahoma, 14 Missouri and 15 Nebraska. Virginia Tech, the highest ranked ACC school is 16th, followed by 17 Texas A&M, 18 South Carolina, 19 Nevada and 20 Utah. Arizona, Florida State, North Carolina State, Iowa and Mississippi State round out the BCS Top-25 in that order.

Week-13 should provide some exciting college football action as a few ranked matchups go head to head; such as No. 2 Auburn vs. No. 11 Alabama in Tuscaloosa and No. 5 LSU playing No. 12 Arkansas in Little Rock.
