College Football Picks: West Virginia Mountaineers vs UConn HuskiesThe West Virginia Mountaineers football team , ranked No. 3 in this weeks BCS poll has a chance to move up based on current No. 1 LSU’s loss to Arkansas on Friday. Two things must happen for the Mountaineers to replace the Tigers on top of the polls. First, No. 2 Kansas must lose to No. 4 Missouri and most importantly, they must defeat Connecticut on Saturday when the Huskies travel to Morgantown.

Both WVU and UConn sit atop the BIG EAST standings with 5-1 records. The winner takes home the spoils and gets the automatic bid to one of the BCS bowl games. If the Mountaineers win the dreams of winning a national championship continue.

Oddsmakers at Sportsbetting.com have the Mountineers chalked in as a heavy 19-point favorite against the spread (ATS) with a 51 total. The money line prices have been taken off the board.
