UCLA vs. USC College Football Picks: UCLA (6-5,3-5 PAC 10) goes into Saturday's game with USC (7-4, 6-3) in the annual crosstown shootout feeling pretty good about itself. At least this year, the Trojans have slipped and are not in the BCS discussion. UCLA, and USC kickoff this FSN televised game at LA Coliseum at 10 pm ET.
UCLA hasn't felt as hopeful about its chances in this rivalry game since Pete Carroll arrived to lead the Trojans program. USC is coming into the game having lost two of its last three, including an historic defeat against Stanford in their last Coliseum appearance.
UCLA is in prime position to cement its case for a bowl bid after three straight wins. USC hopes to salvage some of its pride by maintaining its dominance of UCLA over the past decade.
Kai Forbath booted three field goals in Week 12 to lead UCLA to a 23-13 win over Arizona State. The Bruins managed to cover the 6-point spread in that contest, while the combined score fell UNDER the day's posted total (41).
Matt Barkley had a rough day, throwing 196 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in USC's 55-21 loss to Stanford in Week 11. The Trojans did not cover the 11.5-point spread, while the final score played OVER the day's posted total of 59.
It's a little surprising the Trojans are lined as double-digit favorites for this game. UCLA looks good getting +13 and the OVER 47 looks like a good wager on the total.
