The Virginia Tech football team will travel up to Charlottesville, Virg., to play arch-rival Virginia in an ACC battle that will end the regular season the Hokies and the season for the Cavaliers. Kickoff for the ESPN televised game is set for 3:30 pm ET.
Other than playing for state pride, the storyline for today's game surrounds the fate of Virginia's embattled head coach Al Groh. Besides being the final game of the season, it will probably be the final game for Groh who is rumored to be fired following the game. Virginia (3-8, 2-5 ACC) has lost five straight games this season, and five straight against the Hokies (8-3, 5-2).
Look for the Hokies to win today's game extending their streak over Virginia to six straight. Look for Virginia to cover the +14 1/2 chalk ATS.
