2010 BCS Odds: The college bowl season kicks off today with the New Mexico Bowl and the St. Petersburg Bowl and it will conclude on January 7th with the Citi BCS National Championship Game in Pasadena, California. Online bookmaker Bodog.com has odds on every single bowl contest, including the latest 2010 BCS Odds on the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, and BCS National Championship Game.

2010 Rose Bowl – Ohio State vs Oregon (-3.5): The Big Ten champion Buckeyes come into this contest with a 10-2 record 2010 BCS Odds(7-1 conference) and No. 8 ranking in the latest BCS poll. They are 9-3 against the spread this season and are giving up an average of just 12.2 points per game. The Ducks won the Pac 10 with a 10-2 record (8-1 conference) as well and they are currently No. 7 in the BCS standings. Oregon, which is 7-5 against the spread this year, is averaging almost 38 points per game on the season.

2010 Sugar Bowl Odds – Florida Gators vs Cincinnati Bearcats (+11): The Gators easily won the SEC East this year, going 8-0 in conference play; however, they were not able to get by Alabama in the SEC Championship. Florida, as a result, finished 12-1 (6-6 ATS) and missed out on an opportunity to win back-to-back National Championships. Cincinnati won the Big East with a 12-0 record (6-6 ATS) and 7-0 conference mark. The Bearcats, which survived several close calls down the stretch, will be without Head Coach Brian Kelly when they take on the Gators. Kelly took the Notre Dame job just a couple of weeks ago.

2010 Fiesta Bowl Odds – Boise State vs TCU (-7): Boise State cruised to another WAC title this season, going 13-0 overall (8-5 ATS) and 8-0 in league action. The Broncos, which are presently No. 6 in the BCS rankings, come into this bowl rematch with the Horned Frogs sporting a 26.5 margin of victory average. TCU, like Boise State, produced an unblemished record, going 12-0 (8-4 ATS) on the season with big wins over Clemson, BYU, and Utah. The Horned Frogs have held their opposition to an average of just 12.4 points per game this year.

2010 Orange Bowl Odds – Iowa vs Georgia Tech (-4): The Hawkeyes flirted with the Big Ten title much of the season, but November slip ups against Northwestern and Ohio State relegated them to a second place finish. However, Iowa's 10-2 record (7-4 ATS) and No. 10 BCS ranking earned them an Orange Bowl meeting with the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech, the No. 9 team in the BCS standings, won the ACC this season with an 11-2 record (8-4 ATS) and 7-1 league mark. Tech averaged 35.3 points per game on the year and it ranked second in the nation in rushing with 3993 yards on the ground.

2010 BCS Odds – Texas vs Alabama (-5): The Longhorns were third in the BCS rankings much of the season, but they leap frogged the Gators after Florida's loss to Alabama and garnered their own meeting with the Crimson Tide in the process. Texas comes into this game with a 13-0 record (5-7-1 ATS) and a Big 12 Championship to its credit. Alabama also went 13-0 (8-5 ATS) and they moved to No. 1 in the BCS standings after their SEC Championship win over Florida. The Tide, while averaging 31.7 points per game, are primarily a defensive juggernaut, holding their competition to a meager 11 points per game this season.
