One of the best match-ups of the college football bowl season will take place tonight in San Diego, CA when the TCU Horned Frogs and Boise State Broncos square off against each other in the 2008 Poinsettia Bowl. The big game kicks off at 8:00pm ET at Qualcomm Stadium and will broadcast on ESPN.

Texas Christian has had a spectacular season in the Mountain West conference, going 10-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play. The Broncos went 8-0 in conference play and faced little competition in winning their 10th conference championship. Head Coach Chris Petersen is now 35-3 in his third year with the Broncos. His club is currently ranked eighth in the BCS standings.
Boise State freshmen quarterback Kellen Moore led the Broncos to a 39.4 point per game average this year. Moore passed for 3264 yards and 25 touchdowns (nine interceptions) on his way to a 161.5 passer rating. The Broncos also feature a stout defensive unit that limited their opposition to just 12.3 points per game.
