Toledo vs Florida International 2010 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl Spreads Odds & Predictions: The 2010 college football bowl season continues Sunday (8:30 pm ET, ESPN) when the Florida International Golden Panthers (6-6) play the Toledo Rockets (8-4) in the – Little Caesars Pizza Bowl – at Ford Field in Detroit. Oddsmakers at Sportsbook.com opened betting on this game listing the Rockets as 2-chalk favorites, but by Sunday morning, were bet down to a PICK with a combined (OVER/UNDER) total of 57 1/2.

Toledo vs Florida International 2010 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl - Spreads Odds & PredictionsThe "Little Caesars Pizza Bowl" might not be on top of the college bowls list of importance, but to the teams participating, Toledo and Florida International, it's a pretty big deal. And of course its a big deal to fans who like to bet on college football. This game is also important to the conferences involved, the Mid American and Sun Belt, two of the lower rated Non-BCS qualifying leagues. Neither wants to be recognized as the worst. The MAC is already down to the Sun Belt 0-1, the result of Troy defeating Ohio in the New Orleans Bowl.

A key match up in this game will be between two great receivers and kick returners in T.Y. Hilton of FIU and Sophomore All-American receiver/returner Eric Page. Page has been named to four All-America teams as a kickoff returner. Page, who plays wide receiver as well as returning kickoffs and punts for the Rockets, ranks fourth in the nation in kickoff returns (31.8 avg.) and is the only player in the Football Bowl Series (FBS) to have returned three kickoffs for touchdowns this season. Hilton has scored 26 touchdowns for his career, which is the most in FIU history.

Today's game will be the third between Toledo and FIU in recent history. Two years ago, FIU picked up its first-ever FBS non-conference win with a 35-16 victory against Toledo in the Glass Bowl. Last season, the Rockets came down to Miami and beat the Panthers 41-31.

Reno Gold's Bowl Predictions: The game will have a partisan Toledo crowd, but I predict the Golden Panthers will bring home their first bowl win Sunday night. BEST PLAY – FIU (PICK).
