Capital One Bowl Early Betting Trends

by Alexander Banks on Saturday, December 29th, 2007

Capital One Bowl Early Betting TrendsFlorida might be defending its national championship in the Capital One Bowl, but Florida is not without issues that could be capitalized on by Michigan. Florida's running game is not much to talk about, outside of Tebow's stellar performances. Looking at Michigan they actually have what it takes to pull off a big upset in the 2008 Capital One Bowl .

"I don't see MIchigan winning this game down in Orlando in what is a virtual Florida home game," said Point-Spreads.com College Football handicapper Reno Goldberg. "While Florida has dropped off from last years national championship team they have a tremendous talent level. And speed kills as Michigan will probably find out."

SportsBetting.com Line: Florida -10.5 (Over/Under 59)

Numbers of Note: Michigan is only 1-5 straight up in their last six bowl games (the one win was vs. Florida in the 2002 season), going 2-4 ATS in those games. The moneyline on Florida in this tilt is a steep -450.
